The “Implementing E-Logging at Thames Water Utilities” White Paper was recognized at the 2019 ISA Energy and Water Automation Conference (EWAC), which was held from the 6th to the 8th of August 2019 in Orlando, Florida.
David Dollar and Jeremy Westwood from Hexagon and Anthony Tyler from Thames Water Utilities wrote the White Paper for the 2018 ISA Water / Wastewater and Automatic Controls Symposium and it was nominated and elected by peers to receive the 2nd Best Paper Award. Gordon Duthie from Hexagon recently presented the Anthony Tyler with his award at the Kemble Court Operations Management Centre in Reading.
The paper highlights the operations management gains made by Thames Water Utilities, the UK’s largest water company. The company currently uses the j5 Operations Logbook, j5 Shift Handover, j5 Work Instructions, j5 Standing Orders, and j5 IndustraForm® Templates at their Kemble Court Operations Management Centre. Through digitalization with j5 Operations Management Software, they now achieve greater recording, visibility, retrieval, and audibility of water control information.
